We are seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Pharmacist to support daily compounding operations at our newly acquired compounding pharmacy in Baton Rouge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-focused, innovative pharmacy team dedicated to providing high-quality compounded medications.

 Position Highlights

       Schedule: Monday – Friday (no nights, no weekends, no major holidays)

       Salary: $128,000 – $135,000 (commensurate with experience)

       Type: Full-Time

 Responsibilities

       -Research and develop new formulas and update existing formulas as needed for accuracy and appropriateness.

      -Ensure adherence to USP standards and best practices in sterile and non-sterile compounding

       -Provide clinical and operational support to leadership and pharmacy staff

       -Assist with monitoring daily compounding and operational activities and ensuring quality control practices are followed

       -Collaborate with ownership and management to drive operational excellence and patient care

       -Verify compounded prescriptions for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

       -Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from accredited college of pharmacy

       -Active Louisiana Pharmacist License in good standing (or eligibility to reciprocate)

       -Minimum 1-3 years of pharmacy experience, with compounding background preferred

       -Ability to complete accurate pharmaceutical calculations

       -Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
