Campbell County Health is seeking a dedicated Health Educator to join our progressive team. Located in Gillette, WY, CCH encompasses Campbell County Memorial Hospital, clinics, and various specialized health services. Our mission focuses on delivering outstanding quality health care to the Gillette community. As a Health Educator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our community by developing and implementing educational materials and programs related to health and wellness.
Assess the health needs of the community and the populations served.
Plan, design, and implement health education programs and activities.
Develop educational materials to distribute to patients and community groups.
Conduct training sessions for patients, community members, and healthcare staff.
Evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs and revise materials as needed.
Maintain detailed records of educational activities and participants' progress.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, external agencies, and community partners to enhance public health initiatives.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging presentations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience in program development and evaluation.
Knowledge of public health principles and practices.
