Description: This shift schedule being from 16:00-02:30 hr . Pharmacist with 2 professional references. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $78.62/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $63.79/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr,

Summary:

Department: Pharmacy

Shift timings: 16:00-02:30

• FT - 72 hours (work 7 days on and then off for 7 days) Evening/night from 4pm to 2:30 am (last two nights shifts go until 3:30am to make up 72 hours total).
• Next rotation will start on 10/1/25 to 10/7/25 and is every other week from there.
• EOW Pharmacists work every other weekend.
• Pharmacists are responsible for working any weekend or holiday that falls on their scheduled 7 day rotation.
• Preferred EPIC EMR experience
• Indiana State License required

Rate: $78.62 / hour

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Pharmacist Indiana state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Pharmacist program
• One year of work experience as Pharmacist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems.
• Recommend formulary alternatives when appropriate.
• Compound and dispense medications for accurate delivery to patients.
• Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
• Communicate with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
• Oversee technical personnel who assist in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Assist with academic functions such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
• May float to provide coverage of pharmacy needs.
• Provide patient counseling efficiently and effectively when required.
