A full-time or part-time pharmacist at Montross Pharmacy (located at 115 N Chestnut Ave, Earlham, IA) serves a vital role in this community. The pharmacist provides direct patient care, accurately dispenses medications, administers immunizations, and counsels customers. It’s an ideal setting for someone looking to practice community-focused care in rural Iowa. Key Responsibilities
Dispensation & Verification: Accurately evaluate, prepare, and verify prescribed medications according to Iowa and federal legal requirements. 
Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medication therapy, and potential side effects.
Immunizations & Clinical Services: Administer vaccinations and participate in enhanced pharmcy services.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations. 
Compliance & Inventory: Maintain strict regulatory compliance, manage controlled substance logs, and assist with inventory control.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a BS or higher in Pharmacy.
License: Active, unencumbered Pharmacist license in the state of Iowa.
Interpersonal Skills: A compassionate, patient-first approach with excellent communication skills to build relationships in a tight-knit rural community.
Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a community pharmacy setting. 

Schedule:  If Full-Time:  Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.  Closed Saturday
