Shift: Primarily Days with some late night (evenings) and on call/call per unit needs.
Cardiac Cath/EP Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
Also known as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) , certified technicians who assist with invasive cardiac procedures).
FT positions available, primarily days with late requirements and on call requirements, 10-hour shifts.
The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They must be able to anticipate equipment required during procedures, operate quipment, and maintain sterile instruments. Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) ‘s will be required to function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Good organizational skills are a must. Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824.
Must Haves:
- 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
- RCIS
- BLS
- ACLS
